Substrates for Thin Films

PhotonExport provides silicon wafers and crystals with different Miller index orientations and polishing qualities according to your needs.

The main extrinsic variables are film tension, delamination extent, thickness and temperature, while the intrinsic variables are modulus, yield strength, thermodynamic work of adhesion and one or more length scale.

Substrates for Thin Films

PhotonExport provides a wide range of substrates for thin films applications.

In addition to our silicon wafers and crystals, we provide laboratory-grade borosilicate glass substrates, colored optical filters to industrial furnace glass window observation sights, in all shapes and sizes of glass to cater to your requirements.

With our worldwide providers we can ensure that you receive the best quality and custom adapted products for your R&D or industrial applications.

Technical Glass

Crystal formed using a high ion exchange process is stronger and more durable than glass substrates. We offer glass with coatings from all three major brands of HIE glass manufactured: Asahi Dragontrail™, Corning® Gorilla® Glass and Schott Xensation.

Sapphire Wafers

Sapphire has excellent physical and chemical properties which makes it an invaluable product for a range of hi-tech applications. Sapphire substrates are highly regarded in the Light Emitting Diode (LED) industry for their reliability, abundance and cost efficiency.
