Zinc Selenide
ZnSe: zinc selenide is yellow to red in appearance and commonly used as an infrared optical material.
Zinc Selenide specifications
We offer ZnSe in the form of wafer banks with diameters ranging from 12 to 50 mm and purities of of 99.99%. The wafers can be round to non-round and polished or unpolished. Contact us for more details. They are carefully packaged in soft paper, with each bag containing 1 Kg. To ensure the integrity of the product, it is imperative to store them away from direct sunlight and acids, while keeping them dry. Additionally, we can provide wafers with specific diameters and thicknesses upon request.
Our product range also includes crystal granules with sizes ranging from 1 to 40 mm and powder with a particle size of ≥ 200 mesh.

ZnSe Evaporation techniques
It can be thermally evaporated from a tantalum or molybdenum boat.
It can also be evaporated by electron beam with a tantalum or molybdenum crucible liner.
It is evaporated in a dedicated vacuum chamber due to its high vapor pressures at low temperature.
